Nomads- Express
I do not want to be a politican but I am interested in politics and I am not a socilaist becaus I do not fully umderstand how you coukd be one. I choose to be an artist because I want to express without the desire to enforce. I belive in the freedom that allows you to travel and be a nomad.
When we talk about nomdas noth in history, culture and tradition in the 21st centuray, we might think of people who are of not oriantation, no direction, possessing no external effect and are not affected by external elements but we would be wrong.
Nomads, being nomadic is a just but a word that seems to be relevant for some people in every centuary and shoulf be celebrated as people of subtle monumental impact. I am looking into memory and memorialisation in view of immigartion and diaspora and will ne writing more about this as I go back to being able to photograph on location. I will also be adding interviews witj locals and text to this project in ongoing effort to contextualise the work.
